St. Louis Blues Uniforms
The Blues’ logo and uniforms needed a refresh to match the team’s gritty, hard-working vibe. So, the new logo design (on the left) gave the Blue Note a sleek, sharp look with lots of forward motion.
The uniform design draws from the team’s history. Early on, the Blues had multi-striped shoulders, then added significant waist elements in the middle years, and later introduced cuffs. The new uniforms blend these historical elements into a cohesive, modern look that resonates with both today’s players and fans. Plus, we’ve added navy blue to the color scheme for the first time.
The next uniform (in the center) was a natural evolution from the previous one, crafted to fit the new manufacturer’s production design.
And the last uniform (on the right) was the third jersey, a first for all NHL teams that year. It was a major shift from the Blues’ usual look, featuring full navy jerseys and pants, plus a new crest showcasing the iconic Gateway Arch. It was voted No. 2 for best jersey design overall and No. 1 for original design by SI.com.
