This is the organization that took control of regional water and wastewater services in southeastern Michigan. This area includes the city of Flint, which had been in the national news for having terrible water quality.
GLWA solved the local water issues and set up systems to ensure a safe water supply for the future. In this new identity, the water drops illustrate the movement of water through the purification process. They also form the letters “W” and “A,” standing for Water Authority.
